The Birthmark Killer
Reports of seemingly unrelated murders suddenly began to appear in the press. The first body was discovered in San Antonio, Texas. One month later, it happened in Akron, Ohio. Two months after that in Brandon, Florida. And one month later it was Los Angeles, California. Bodies kept getting discovered, but because the murders were seemingly unrelated, nobody connected the dots.
The murderer would send his victims a couple of grainy pictures, supposedly showing them in compromising positions, and ask for money. If they didn’t pay, he would kill them.
What the police didn’t know for a long time was that the victims all had a peculiar birthmark in common! Once that common thread became known, a special task force was formed to look into the murders.
But, even then, the police didn’t have a clue, until . . . .
